In-house Corporate Communication and Marketing role for Experienced Account Executive 

My client is looking for a proficient copywriter and passionate content creator to join their busy marketing team as a Communication Executive delivering on content marketing strategy, covering both internal and external activities.


The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to help build the profile of this growing business bank in their stunning flagship office in the City of London:

As well as assisting with the bank’s external marketing activities, you will provide crucial support to the business’s internal communication efforts to engage staff and nurture a healthy, productive working environment.

There will be an element of events planning and support, data management, research, analysis and involvement in the bank’s CSR activity. The right candidate will also be expected to take over the reins of the bank’s flagship staff magazine.

It is a really exciting time to join this City of London-based lender, as it makes a name for itself as a trusted financial partner in the finance markets. 

To apply for this role you will need strong copywriting and communication skills as well as relevant experience in corporate internal or external communication - ideally within financial services  or real estate. A background in journalism or print publishing would also be advantageous.

Desired  Skills & Experience:​

  • Relevant Internal or external communication/marketing/PR experience, minimum two years 

  • Strong editing and proof-reading skills with good attention to detail

  • Strong copywriting and communication skills (Native English speaker) essential

  • Portfolio of writing samples

  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills, comfortable with communicating across all levels of seniority

  • Dynamic and pragmatic self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive and passion to succeed

  • Ability to self-manage and prioritise tasks while meeting tight deadlines

  • Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office, PP skills, as well as marketing systems, Intranet platforms, CRM, and website CMS. Editing or graphic design software knowledge advantageous but not essential

  • Excellent academics - at least  2.1 from a good university

12 months Contract - Salary up to £45,000 depending on skills and experience.
