Newly created hybrid EA role supporting the CEO of an Environmental Asset Management Firm

Graduate EA to CEO
Location: London, UK / Hybrid (currently up to 2 days remotely)
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 PA

The successful candidate will have 2 years relevant experience in support. You will assist the CEO and other senior managers to accomplish their daily tasks. You will be expected to handle a wide range of high-level administrative tasks including executive communication, handling of corporate documents and arranging events. The role will also include project work which may include streamlining and improving processes as well as getting involved in social media.

Our client, an award-winning environmental asset management firm based in the City of London, is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join their team as an EA to the CEO. The firm is expanding globally – with activities in Asia, Australia, North America and Europe.

This is a newly created role that offers an exciting opportunity for an EA who wants to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. There is scope for development and you will play a crucial role in supporting the founder/ CEO in various aspects of his work. The role is extremely varied and includes complex diary management, project coordination, as well as taking responsibility for the upkeep of the office.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. Someone who is driven and excited about taking on significant responsibilities from day one. You will be privy to lots of confidential information, so discretion is essential.

Core responsibilities will include:

Organise and schedule meetings

Prepare meeting agendas, perform research for meetings, and take minutes during meetings

Book business travel arrangements, including flights, transportation, and accommodation for senior management and other staff members

Maintain office correspondence, including routine emails, and maintaining social media presence

Perform reception duties such as answering phones where necessary
-
Manage the diaries and schedules of senior management
-
Communicate with Board Members, schedule Board Meetings, and arrange meeting agendas

Liaise with clients and business guests
-
Solve simple IT problems and contact the IT support when necessary
-
Maintain electronic filing system, ensuring processes and software are up to date and in working order

Manage projects and follow-up with team members where required
-
Maintain a strong working relationship with other relevant departments, including Sales and Marketing, and Investment.

Liaise with other staff members on behalf of senior management
Skills:
-
Previous Executive Support experience (2 years)

Good administration, organisational and clerical skills,

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Be able to schedule and plan,

Willingness to Travel,

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular, PowerPoint and Excel,

Additional languages, in particular Japanese would be desirable
