Rare opportunity in Central London for an experienced Accountant to join a prestigious and successful gallery.

 

To be considered for this position you will have a solid background as a stand-alone company accountant combined with a  problem solving mindset and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

Management of the Sales and Purchase ledger 

Reconciling sales and purchase ledger 

Reconciling bank accounts and cashbook 

Credit control and chasing outstanding invoices prepare a payment supporting the chairman and director of finance and other admin related task 

Preparation of monthly payroll 

Preparation of all the costumes formalities in relation to a bonded warehouse and dealing with any queries raised by HMRC 

Maintaining Stock Records 

Knowledge of VAT Reclaims, Procedures in the Margin Scheme 

Preparation of the monthly management accounts 

Preparation of the Year End Statutory accounts including Stock write down formalities and assisting the auditors

Salary depends on experience: From 45,000 PA.
