Operations Manager/EA to join extremely successful environmental communications agency,  London.

 

My client is looking  to hire an entrepreneurial and efficient individual to manage the HR, legal, and administrative systems to support and manage the rapid expansion of this ground-breaking environmental communications agency.

 

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a similar role and work directly with the CEO.

The role is extremely varied and requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

It will suit someone who really wants to get stuck in and make a difference.   

 

Salary depends on skills and experience and we would like to find someone who can start asap.

 

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Establishing and maintaining business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability

  • Managing recruitment of staff in the US and UK, including advertising, recruitment agencies, social media promotion, website

  • HR management including staff onboarding new staff, management of US healthcare policies, review processes, training

  • Oversight of new business pipeline

  • Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed

  • Management of company contracts with clients, suppliers, staff

  • Sending out and registering company invoices on accounts system

  • Management of staff expenses and time management records

  • Management of operational suppliers e.g. offices, telcos, and all supplier payment approvals
    Extensive diary planning and management for CEO

  • Setting up calls and meetings for CEO and senior team members with clients and other stakeholders in multiple timezones

  • Project management of international marketing activities, including website development, events sponsorship
    Planning and organizing non-US travel and accommodation

  • Any other administrative duties as required

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in perfect English

  •  Numerate and strong ability with databases, Excel

  • Excellent planning ability in particular handling multiple timezones

  • Experience of basic bookkeeping

  • Entrepreneurial, problem-solving team player

  • The ability to independently prioritize tasks and work under pressure

  • Right to work in the UK

START ASAP

£40,000-45,000 with some flexibility depending on skills and experience.
